Being the “cook” of the house hold it is very rare that I get an evening off with someone else cooking for me. I mean, I can easily get out for dinner instead, but sometimes it’s nice to stay in and have someone do it all for you, especially if you’re entertaining friends.
Le Frog Is a private chef service in Bristol that provides experienced chefs to take care of everything: shopping, cooking, serving and cleaning up. I jumped at the chance to host a dinner party for me and my friends to try one of the best local private chefs in the Bristol Area.
Our Chef was Mikael Perret, born in Brittany from a traditional French family cooking background, inheriting his passion for food from his grand-mother a Head Chef for over 40 years & his grand-father the local baker. He provided us with a mouthwatering French menu. He arrived an hour or so before the meal to set up and get cooking, and I left him to it in my little kitchen. He brought along a waitress and all of the ingredients, equipment, plates and cutlery. This means NO cleaning up for me!
